Stanthorpe, Qld 25.8.19

Departed Nanango about 10.30am after a 4km walk.

Heading to Stanthorpe showgrounds with a lunch stop and a short walk at Clifton.
Wound up the camper and made our lunch, which we took across the road to the pioneer park.

Bottle tree with a fairy door
 War Memorial
 Catholic Church
Old nuns convent has been turned into a BnB.
The big apple at Applethorpe.
We skirted around Toowoomba and the scenery was dry but beautiful. Finally made it to Stanthorpe showgrounds, set up and headed straight for a hot shower before the sun started dropping, along with the temperature.
We went to the RSL for a beautiful but too large meal.

Coffee and chatting outside until it got too cold about 9.30ish.

Today we traveled 296.5kms
Total traveled 518.5kms
